How the ohm's law calculator works
Ohm's law says voltage = current × resistance (V = I × R). Power is voltage × current (P = V × I). Combining the two gives P = I² × R and P = V² ÷ R, so any two of the four values fix the other two.
Units: volts (V), amperes (A), ohms (Ω) and watts (W). Ohm's law holds for resistive loads; for AC circuits with motors or capacitors, use impedance and power factor instead.
