How the gpa calculator works
GPA is a credit-weighted average: multiply each course's grade points by its credits, add them up, and divide by the total credits. A 4-credit B+ (3.3) adds 13.2 grade points.
To combine with earlier semesters, enter your current GPA and credits completed. Pass/fail courses count toward credits earned but not toward the GPA.
GPA planning works backward: the grade points you need in total, minus the ones you already have, divided by the credits still to come.
