How the date calculator works
Days between dates counts calendar days from the start date to the end date, not counting the start (like counting nights). Turn on Include the end date to count both.
Business days skip Saturdays and Sundays, and optionally the 11 US federal holidays on their observed dates (a holiday on a Saturday is observed Friday, on a Sunday it moves to Monday).
When adding months, a date near the end of the month clamps to the last valid day: January 31 plus one month is February 28, or 29 in a leap year.
