How the grade calculator works
A weighted grade multiplies each score by its weight, adds them up and divides by the total weight. If the weights entered so far add up to less than 100%, the result is your grade on the work graded so far.
The final exam score you need = (goal - current grade × (1 - final weight)) / final weight. With an 84% going in, a final worth 25% needs an 108% for a 90, but only a 68% to keep a B (80%).
